Thank you for the invitation to the reunion! It brought back many fond memories of my teaching/coahing  time at Grayslake High School. I especially want to  send greetings to the members of the 1984 track team! You were the first girls track team at Grayslake High School to capture the conference title making that year a highlight of my career. I moved to CA after leaving Grayslake and after teaching in Santa Barbara, CA I spent 21 years as an assistant principal in Roseville, CA. Greetings to the Class of '84!  Thank you for the invitation to the reunion.  It was great to see so many familiar names.  That was a great time at GCHS.  As for me, I have spent the last 21 years here at Central Michigan University as a professor of educational leadership, putting to good use (I hope) all the things I learned at Grayslake.  My students here at CMU are almost all current teachers studying to be principals (which is what I did after leaving Grayslake).  I would be very happy to hear from any of you.  I am going to try to make it to the high school tour, depending on what time it is.  Best wishes to all of you!  Mr. Whale

Married my HS sweetheart, Dave and we wb celebrating 32 years of married life this year. We have 3 adult kids: 1 daughter married to a handsome Marine from GCHS and currently stationed in Japan with their 5 yr old son, 1 daughter working on her degrees in education & business from DePaul and 1 son in college to be a GM/Certified Auto Technician. Dave continues to work in the printing field, using his Vocational skills, and supports my passion rescuing greyhounds. I hope that you are all doing well!
